One of the most important processes of creating vodka is that of distillation. Distillation concentrates the alcohol while at the same time during that process the characteristics of the raw materials of vodka are highlighted.
Serkova Crystal Pure, through a technologically advanced method, goes through 10 consecutive distillations, ending up with a vodka of exceptional quality with a soft velvety taste and a long aftertaste.
Drag your mouse over the three stages of distillation and discover the magic of the process!
The alcohol mixture is introduced from the highest floor of the column and meets the vapors, which rise upwards and evaporate the alcohol. The temperature of each floor is successively slightly lower than the previous one, so the vapors and the mixture are richer in alcohol on each floor. This process gives us a 70% alcohol liquid.
The alcohol liquid passes to the second column, the Rectifier. Passing at least 10 times through each floor of the column, an extremely clean and rectified distillate is created, at 96% alcohol degrees.
The last stage of distillation is the third column, the Separator, which gathers the distillate produced from the other columns into 15% heads, 55% hearts and 30% tails.
